One of the more popular activities for the ladies at the Festival; The Bonny Knees Contest!
The contest is open to men (only) in kilts, please.
This amusing contest is held Sunday, mid-afternoon, on Clan Row, after the Children’s Parade (and Otter Pops). The parade usually starts around 2 p.m., takes several turns around the park, drawing much attention since the children are being led by a piper or two. The parade ends on Clan Row, where you find the most shade, & where you’ll find the Bonny Knees Contest! Again, men in kilts only, great prizes abound!
